  • Hello, My name is Peter–welcome to my art deptartment! I use filmmaking, graphic design, photography, illustration, and motion graphics to capture those often-overlooked details and alluring intangibles that make a vision so unique.

    I designed these interior signs to work cohesively as a foursome, but also each communicate a separate aspect of the. Museum’s programming and mission. They incorporate the Museum’s brand colors as well as represent a recent shift in design style I’m implementing across Museum communications as part of its brand management.

    I was asked to create poster art for Tara Chugh of The Sirens‘ upcoming show with Gniffke and Sharkeologist at the Central Saloon. They liked both options I sent so much, that they’re using both!

    Look at this lineup! This weekend at TIMBER! Outdoor Music Festival is going to be even more fun than making this poster art was…Can’t wait to wake up with a dip in the river, have some breakfast around the campfire, a walk across the bridge for music in the sun, hot dogs, more river floating, more music, and finish it off with even more incredible music in the forest under stars…

  • Exhibition Trailer // “HAUNTED”

    This exhibition was a challenge to film–to capture the light and glow in the darkness of the gallery. But I was excited to pair the footage with the animated exhibition title graphic I’d created as well as the vhs-glitched list of artists I created for display as part of the exhibition design. What an incredible exhibition! Curated by Ellen Ito at Tacoma Art Museum, HAUNTED “explores cinema as spectral memory, temporal disruption, and the protean meaning of being haunted. Sited at the intersection between cultural memory and lost futures, Haunted crosses sensory and disciplinary thresholds, examining the ways in which the past —both real and imagined —inform our present and future. Haunted contains moving image, installation, sculptural, and photographic works conjured from architecture, technology, pop culture, heritage, and nature. These works dissolve the separation between now and then, visitations to that which is present yet not real.”

    To commemorate their 90th anniversary, Tacoma Art Museum wanted to create some hats and shirts using a vintage logo from the 1970s. I jumped at the opportunity to create something that felt both old school and fresh…This is a video I created to promote the new items.

  • Poster Art // Kokomo Winery : Winemaker Dinner : 2026

    Once again, I’m honored to create the poster art for Kokomo Winery’s annual Winemaker Dinner. The theme of this one was remembering the ones who have gone before us and the way they add another brick to the firmament in the sky–also a reference to the beautiful brickwork in the winery tasting room!

    Here’s an exhibition trailer I created for the new extended view exhibition at Tacoma Art Museum—Gossip: Between Us, curated by Victoria Miles.

    “Long dismissed as mere ‘idle talk,’ gossip has historically been trivialized—particularly when associated with women and feminized voices. Yet, this practice holds profound cultural and political significance. Across generations and geographies, gossip has functioned as a vital conduit for knowledge transmission, memory-making, and community-building. It has served as a discreet but powerful tool through which women and queer individuals have shared oral histories, preserved ancestral wisdom, and cultivated collective identities.

    “Gossip: Between Us draws from the Museum’s permanent collection to spotlight women and queer artists—particularly those whose work embodies this tradition. Featuring works by Barbara Kruger, Joyce J. Scott, Carrie Mae Weems, and more, these artists engage in gossip not only as subject matter but as methodology, embedding within their work the textures of lived experience, cultural memory, and communal care.”
